We are less than a month away from Tax Day: April 15, 2019. The IRS has just announced that there is unclaimed income tax refunds of $1.4 billion waiting for 1.2 million people. It belongs to those who did not file a 2015 Form 1040.

Could that be you? Check your tax records or give us a call. In order to collect the money, you must also file by Tax Day.

IRS Commissioner, Charles Rettig, states there is no penalty for filing a late return if you’re due a refund. Reminder that taxpayers usually have a three-year window of opportunity to claim a tax refund. Otherwise, if the three-year mark is up, the money will no longer be there for you. So it’s probably best to check out your 2015, 2016, and 2017 tax records to make sure everything is in order.

62,500 in New York alone can claim this money, an average of $964 per person. Spread the word! You or someone you know is owed money and can still claim it.
